The NFL FIXES GAMES. IT IS LIKE “PRO” WRESTLING NOW

 

The fact that NFL referees consistently make calls in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs at key moments of a game is a strong indicator that the NFL only cares about marketing a certain product at this time and to exploit it for their own gain. Fans keep watching the games much like “pro” wrestling fans kept watching “pro” wrestling even after it was proved that the matches were fixed and the champions predetermined. 

The social media memes showing the Chiefs and the referees in line with each other are hilarious but at the same time they reveal a truth that many have noticed but there are still some people who deny it even when the referees clearly show they are blatantly making calls or missing calls that only benefit one team, the Chiefs. A perfect example was when they gave the Chiefs an extra third down against the Bengals in the 2023 AFC Championship. 

I was personally a Chiefs fan until it was clear the refs cheat for them. I cannot go along with a system that has turned into the WWE. Many fans will still watch because they want to be entertained despite the fact they are being deceived to their faces by the NFL and others in the media and broadcasting.

Maybe this has to do with the disgusting Taylor Swift factor and idol worship. I guarantee the NFL’s position regarding the Chiefs and cheating for their benefit would not be happening if Swift was not involved. I also think the NFL commissioner has an axe to grind with Tom Brady and the Patriots legacy. He lied and misled about so-called “deflategate”. Brady got even afterwards by winning Super Bowls with the Patriots and the Buccaneers. What is happening now is payback at the expense of the integrity of the game. The commissioner wants the Chiefs to surpass the Patriots and Brady’s legacy but that will never happen because we all are witnessing what the refs are doing and it is disgustingly. How can they sleep at night? Do they have a conscience? 

Yes, dirty politics and falsified entertainment has infiltrated the NFL. How can this be reversed? What will it take to restore the NFL back to the great league that I remember growing up? Who will have the courage among owners, coaches and players to speak out and demand changes including a new commissioner who is not biased but fair and neutral?  

No Holiday Spirit at The Crossing at Smithfield

 The Crossing at Smithfield in Rhode Island is not showing, once more, any signs of the spirit of the season. The place is mostly bare and cold looking. Whoever is responsible is not considerate of the public who long for decorative places that reflect Christmas similar to the way cities like downtown Providence decorated for Christmas so long ago and the way some public places or businesses still decorate today. 

The beautiful and festive decorations were always a stark contrast to the dark and dreary weather and shorter daylight and leafless trees. It was a sign of hope and it cheered up the hearts and minds of people going through hard times. But The Crossing at Smithfield is the spirit of the Grinch and that sad and lifeless spirit is strongly visible. Nothing but a cold, depressed, joyless, sad and pathetic appearance. Not even the street lanterns are decorated with wreathes! 😩

Facebook is Seriously Flawed

Facebook (FB) has the most unreliable and error-prone system for detecting violations of its so-called “community standards.” The system randomly penalizes accounts for violations including ones that were not committed. It will routinely add a political “fact-check” to a post that shows only a fireplace or a food item!! This type of penalty is totally unrelated to the content!! 

And forget about turning to “customer support.” It does not exist. And the Help and Support Center is useless. They have a couple of support phone numbers but you will not speak with a person. You only get an automated pre-recorded message. Facebook had a reliable customer service many years ago. You could email a moderator and expect a reply within a reasonable amount of time. This is no longer true. It seems they really do not care about “support” and about wrongful restrictions or restrictions that are too harsh. 

FB representatives claimed last year they are in the process of fixing the problem of random restrictions by bots but over a year has passed since users complained about being suddenly and without warning restricted or even banned for no reason. 

Facebook was on its way to being a great social media platform until it left its users because of willful neglect, greed and politics. 

Shame on the House Republicans!

UPDATE 2: it looked like they were self-imploding but then Republicans finally did the right thing by electing Rep. Mike Johnson to serve as the next House Speaker. He is a solid pick. He will be a strong leader and one who is needed during these tumultuous times.  

UPDATE. The Republicans have betrayed the will of their voters and the values of Conservatives by supporting as the next House speaker a RINO who served as a spokesman for a George Soros funded organization, The National Popular Vote initiative. This proves once more how both political parties have sold out in favor of the treasonous Deep State and its powers and how much the Congressional Republicans are out of touch with their strongest voting bloc which is arguably MAGA going by drawing power, momentum and polls showing President Trump’s popularity among a variety of voters. 

Rep. Jim Jordan is one of few politicians nowadays who has the courage and the integrity to expose political corruption and who works hard to hold accountable the people who are the cause of this corruption and who have joined the Deep State as a way to “go along to get along” to protect their political careers and to gain power at the expense of the people and the Constitution. 

Voters recognize the Democrat Party as leaders in this ongoing corruption which is why they voted for a Republicans to take over the House, but apparently there are still enough RINO’s in the House who side with Democrats because they are fake Republicans who hate the Conservative and Christian base of their party. 

They are a disgrace for not supporting Jordan as the next House Speaker. The Democrats have been lying about and trying to destroy their opponents, especially President Trump, since November 2016 even by threatening assassination or by using riots to try spinning an issue or a legitimate election (remember the rioting by liberals on Trump’s Inauguration Day?) 

Jordan has led the counter-strike by simply challenging them (on both sides) and by pointing out the double-standards and so the RINO’s respond by failing to support a solid leader who stands up against the evils that voters have longed abhorred for decades. 

What will it take for both Republicans and Democrats to clean up their act and stand with the Constitution and with traditional morals and ethics which was always central to our way of life?

Facebook’s Community Standards and Reporting System is Useless

Facebook has a system in place that allows users to report fake accounts or posts that are spam, scam, porn of all kinds, identity theft and other posts that violate Facebook’s community standards but whenever I (and many other people) report these posts I always receive a negative response that says none of these posts violate Facebook’s community standards including scams or spam on a hacked account or from a fake account. 

The only posts that are routinely removed or censored are political posts by Conservatives but that has to do with Facebook catering to the Left especially since 2016 when Hillary Clinton whined about her election loss and falsely attributed it to social media. That is precisely why only a month after her loss Facebook suddenly announced a new “fact-checking” system which is often biased, false and misleading and only targets Conservatives while it gives Liberals a free pass.

Anyway, I recently reported a post that clearly was spam. People in the comment boxes warned not to click on the link in the post or follow the download instructions because it will download a virus. The Facebook account where the virus was posted was hacked. The owner of the account has tried to reach out to Facebook but to no avail. I reported this issue to Facebook through its report system. Once again, as with many other reports, I received a condescending message stating that the post does not violate Facebook’s community standards. The owner of the account has received similar responses in spite of the fact that her account has, without a doubt, been hacked.

Does Facebook now condone spam and other violations or is their reporting system compromised by wayward employees who purposely refuse to enforce Facebook’s community standards? Are their superiors unaware of this act of dissidence or are they distant and uninvolved? 

This is a very serious issue because it endangers users and makes users vulnerable to all kinds of malicious content and attacks from hackers, scammers, sexual predators, and many other offensive and criminal content.

The only way this can be resolved is if a lawsuit is brought against Facebook. Private users can do so through the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) or state attorneys general and through a local consumers protection office.

The NBA’s Latest L2M Report on Celtics-Lakers OT Game is Missing an Important Oversight…

 The report fails to mention that while Lebron James was fouled as he as attempting a game-winning layup at the end-of-regulation he clearly traveled prior to the foul. Why is this fact not mentioned in the report and why was it not mentioned by the “experts” covering the game and by the sports media? It was an astute fan who pointed out that Lebron had traveled before the foul. When I looked at the video again and slow-motioned it several times it is clear that he traveled but the refs have let him get away with this violation for so many years that many people no longer bother to notice anymore whenever he commits this violation and so the focus now is not on the fact that he committed this violation again but that a violation was committed by his opponent after he traveled!
